Abstract

Lifestyle modifications play a crucial role in preventing and managing non-communicable diseases (NCDs), which are among the leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide. This study aims to analyze the impact of lifestyle changes, including diet, physical activity, smoking cessation, and stress management, on reducing the risk and severity of NCDs such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and obesity. A systematic review of recent studies was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of various interventions. The findings indicate that adopting a balanced diet, engaging in regular physical activity, and avoiding harmful habits significantly improve health outcomes and lower disease progression rates. Additionally, stress reduction techniques contribute to better metabolic and cardiovascular health. These results highlight the importance of integrated lifestyle interventions as a primary strategy for NCD prevention and management. Healthcare policies should emphasize health education and behavioral changes to enhance public health and reduce the burden of NCDs.
